Investing in the next generation
We are proud to have invested around €14mn in the early careers of local people through our award-winning apprenticeship schemes, since 2012.
We provide technical and professional training to next generation engineers, technicians, and business leaders to help them stay on the vanguard of the petroleum industry.
We are also active partners to Universities across Germany and Denmark, collaborating with students and academics to sponsor cutting-edge industry research, providing internship and career development opportunities, and funding scholarships.
In 2023, we invited 28 engineering students from the four largest technical universities in Denmark to attend an innovative Think Tank at the historic Hindsgavl Castle. Together with leading specialists in the production of fuels for transport, industry, and shipping, students were tasked with proposing and critically evaluating potential solutions to one of the greatest challenges of our time – Denmark’s transition to a carbon neutral country.
We are proud to be ambassadors for this next generation of business leaders, shaping the future of the industry with fresh, unconventional thinking that gets to the crux of the key challenges and opportunities we face.
