Zeeland Aluminium Company In July 2007, Klesch & Company acquired from Alcan Inc., its Vlissingen smelter in the Netherlands. The Vlissingen aluminium plant employs approximately 700 people and has a smelting production capacity of 250,000 tonnes, with a turnover of approximately $700 million in 2006. The site primarily manufactures aluminium billets for the European engineered products market. |
