eKabel Hessen In August 2000, Klesch & Company formed and led a consortium to acquire the cable television assets of Deutsche Telekom in the state of Hessen (the Frankfurt region) for €1.2 billion. Deutsche Telekom was able to sell for significant value a business that had not been a stand-alone entity. eKabel Hessen was the only German cable franchise to restructure successfully without any form of insolvency and today it trades profitably and continues to grow. |
